Spoilers From Last Nights' WWE Raw Taping
Lana had a surprise in store for Rusev...
After taping SmackDown in Manchester, England several hours before its pretend 'live' transmission on FOX last night, WWE also got Raw in the can early, recording all of Monday's show in advance.
As a consequence, we learned everything that'l happen in two days time, so if you don't want to know the scores, look away now...
The show opened with Asuka & Kairi Sane defeating the team of Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair. The match ended when the Raw Women's champ was distracted by an invading Shayna Baszler, who was subsequently chased down by SmackDown's Bayley.
Sin Cara, minus his unlucky charm of the past two weeks Carolina (or 'Catalina', if you're Vic Joseph), was squashed by Dre McIntyre, after which R-Truth and The Singh Brothers p*ssed about a bit over the 24/7 Championship.
If fans hated the previous segment, they were positively caustic over the emergence of Seth Rollins. The recently deposed Universal Champ issued an open challenge, and possibly regretted it when out came WALTER. Rollins managed to beat the NXT UK Champion, albeit via disqualification when Imperium interfered.
This set up an eight-man tag match, in which Rollins, The Street Profits, & Kevin Owens saw off WALTER, Alexander Wolfe, Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel.
Following Andrade's dismissal of Cedric Alexander, Lana came out for the night's 'hottest' segment. Those in the Manchester Arena booed the crap out of the soap opera nonsense, in which the Ravishing Russian unveiled that she is nine weeks pregnant - but only had sex with Bobby Lashley for the first time seven weeks ago.
Da-da-DAAA! That means Rusev is the father. Good lord, end us.
Erick Rowan easily dispatched of local talent Soner Durson (most recently a performer in Tidal Championship Wrestling), followed by The Viking Raiders seeing off Welsh tandem Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster.
The taping concluded as Ricochet, Humberto Carrillo & Randy Orton bested The OC before an utterly exhausted crowd. The Fiend made a cameo once the cameras stopped rolling, laying out AJ Styles and co.
