The show is set to take place in the mammoth Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, and early reports are suggesting that the event will sell out the current available capacity of 41,661.

McMahon spoke to Yahoo Finance about the show as well as WWE's last several months at the ThunderDome and their upcoming return to live touring as pandemic-related restrictions continue to be lifted. Speaking on 'The Biggest Party Of The Summer' and the prospect of her wrestling again she noted;

Ever since Ronda Rousey broke my arm I have a little PTSD so I'm not sure when you're gonna see me in the ring any time soon, but I guarantee for SummerSlam, there is going to be a lot of surprises.

SummerSlam will be the third main roster pay-per-view to take place in front of fans this year after WrestleMania and July's Money In The Bank. Though no matches have been announced as of yet, the poster features Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair and Rey Mysterio.

The rumoured returns of Becky Lynch, John Cena and Brock Lesnar are currently just that, but the time between then and now could shed some light on McMahon's bold claims.
