If you want a good example of how solid Stephanie has become on the mic, consider her recent feud with Brie. Theres a reason the Bella Twins dont get much promo time on Raw, and its shown during the past month. (Now, to be fair, both Nikki and Brie sound just fine and present themselves really well on Total Divas, so something just isnt translating on Raw. Maybe we can chalk this up to the overly scripted nature of WWE these days rather than blame Brie.) Regardless, Bries promos have been wooden and forced, leaving Stephanie to carry most of the heavy lifting. Thankfully, she already has a lot of momentum built up from the entire Daniel Bryan storyline, and she has channeled a lot of that built-in hatred from the fans. The reactions are mostly centered on Stephanie fans booed her while she ridiculed Brie and cheered when Bella slapped Stephanie around. In this case, Stephanies crocodile tears as she pleaded that she hadnt competed in more than a decade were golden. She feigned fear at getting in the ring against Brie, then slapped her right off the apron. And just like that, she made Brie a big-time sympathetic character without Daniel Bryan.
