Stipulation Added To Top WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022 Match
One of WrestleMania Backlash 2022's bigger matches got an upgrade on last night's Raw.
Damian Priest has been barred from ringside when ally Edge faces AJ Styles at WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022 this Sunday (8 May).
The stipulation was added during last night's episode of Raw. Styles wrestled Priest on the show, having fallen to Edge at WrestleMania 38 following the former United States Champion's interference. The match dictated that if AJ was victorious, Priest couldn't be at ringside on Sunday, and Styles ended up taking the win via roll-up following a flubbed interference from his Premium Live Event opponent.
Edge and Priest attacked Styles after the bell, though a Finn Balor run-in was enough to prevent an attempted Con-Chair-To.
"Judgment Day" was recently revealed as the name of Priest and Edge's new group. Rhea Ripley and Tommaso Ciampa have both been reported as potential additions to the group, though neither has decided to bath themselves in blue lighting yet.
The new stipulation means the WrestleMania Backlash 2022 lineup currently looks like this:-
