Uso was responsible for the attack on the former Mr. Money in the Bank, targeting Otis after his cousin Roman Reigns claimed Jey's fellow Survivor Series teammates didn't fear or respect him or his family. According to WWE, Otis is now suffering from multiple areas of contusions and tenderness of the muscles throughout the thoracic spine region.

Uso on the other hand, found himself on the receiving end of a brutal beatdown after the night's main event, with Kevin Owens brutalising him to send a message to Reigns. In storyline, Uso is reportedly experiencing bilateral upper extremity weakness, though the weakness is temporary and should subside in the coming days.

Following Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Digital has learned the status of two blue brand Superstars.
Otis was evaluated by WWE Medical following Jey Uso's attack. The evaluation revealed multiple areas of contusions and tenderness of the muscles throughout the thoracic spine region. Examination of the bony regions of the thoracic spine and ribs did not reveal any abnormalities.
Jey Uso was sent to the trainer's room following his match with Kevin Owens and the ringside physician's evaluation revealed bilateral upper extremity weakness as a result of stretching the lower cervical nerve roots from the chair strikes. The belief is that this weakness is temporary and should resolve over the next few days.

Owens' attack on Uso seems to have set the stage for an epic feud with Reigns going forward. Will Uso be out for revenge on next week's show? Or will Otis stop the cousin of the "Tribal Chief" in his tracks before he has a chance to get his hands on KO?
