Lance Archer returned to AEW television last night, attacking 'Hangman' Adam Page to seemingly establish the company's next World Title feud.

Page had hit the ring to open the door for whoever wanted to challenge him next, pointing out that at the start of the year, everybody's win/loss record had reset to zero. Dan Lambert was first to interrupt the World Champion, putting over Page's accomplishments but dismissing him for "disrespecting the legacies" of other wrestling cowboys like Blackjack Mulligan, Stan Hansen, and the Funks.

Just when it looked like the segment would finish without any kind of physical confrontation, Archer's music hit. The big man stomped down, got in Lambert's face, then swerved the audience, attacking Page in a beatdown culminating in a Blackout onto a set-up chair.

The Lambert twist was given extra significance by the Blackout that Archer hit the American Top Team leader with during his AEW last summer.

Lance had been on the shelf since the 23 October episode of Dynamite, on which he suffered a neck injury while wrestling Eddie Kingston in the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament. Now, it appears he is good to go again.
