Surprising Wrestler Set To Leave AEW?
A member of one of AEW's top factions appears to be leaving the promotion.
It looks like Bobby Fish could be on his way out of All Elite Wrestling.
Fightful Select reports that the reason Fish hasn't been on AEW television is because his contract is due to expire soon - and it is unlikely to be renewed. The outlet has been informed that when the deal runs out, Fish will be departing the Tony Khan-helmed promotion, having debuted there in October 2021.
Fish's last televised AEW appearance came on Dynamite's 3 August episode, where he and long-time rivals Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly split The Undisputed Elite, turning on The Young Bucks. None of the heel trio has been around since.
Cole and O'Reilly have both been out of action due to injuries over the past few months. Bobby, meanwhile, hasn't wrestled for the promotion since a 13 July Dark: Elevation taping, where he squashed enhancement talent Blake Li.
Last week saw Fish take what some interpreted as a shot at now-former AEW World Champion CM Punk during his Dynamite bout with Jon Moxley:-
Leave the head kicks to the professionals. It’s better for all of us.

When Fish's AEW contract expires is currently unclear. For now, the 45-year-old doesn't appear to factor into the promotion's plans.
