The general public know Donald Trump as a controversial (ahem) politician and the butt of many jokes as US President. Pro wrestling fans remember 'The Donald' as someone who hosted several WrestleMania cards, shaved Vince McMahon's head bald and occasionally popped back up as a celebrity crossover in WWE.

What they might not know is that Trump was genuinely concerned for one wrestler's wellbeing back at 'Mania IV.

The event was held in Donald's Trump Plaza venue in 1988, and it opened with a standard, forgettable Battle Royal. During it, Killer Bees member B. Brian Blair randomly got bust open at ringside and ended up bleeding all over Trump and pals in the front row.

He was out of it, and Donald was so worried he left his seat and waited with Blair backstage until an ambulance arrived to take him to hospital. Blair told Wrestling Inc that Trump wouldn't budge until he knew things were going to be alright and that the wrestler would be taken care of.

Hilariously, Blair didn't have a clue who Trump was, but he'll never forget how compassionate the future President was either.
