Rowdy and rambunctious, the fans were in something of a strop upon entering the Barton Coliseum when they realised they'd paid to see the worst of what WWE had to offer rather than catching the best for free.

Had they stayed home that Monday evening, they'd have enjoyed a legendary edition of the company's flagship show. Stone Cold Steve Austin threw The Rock's Intercontinental Title into a river. Owen Hart threw caution to the wind in a tense post-Montreal showdown with Vince McMahon. D-Generation-X threw the legacy of the Legion Of Doom in the trash in a heartbreaking beatdown.

Instead, they witnessed the heel headliners throw out their entire event after they themselves had something thrown at them.
