The Fiend Returns With New Look At WWE Fastlane 2021

Is it an Ewok? A new Slipknot member? A mummy?! No, it's Bray Wyatt... and his Fiend is back!

As expected, Bray Wyatt's Fiend character returned at WWE Fastlane 2021, interrupting the intergender "match" between Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss.

"Unconventional" would be the best word to describe Bliss vs. Orton. It saw Alexa disrupt The Viper with all kinds of spookiness, from forcing Orton to vomit black goo and throwing fireballs to seemingly making parts of the lighting rig fall from the ceiling, almost crushing Randy.

A gloved hand tore through the canvas late on. Flames spewed from it before The Fiend finally emerged, clad in a new mask that looks like a melted amalgamation of an Ewok, a Slipknot member, and an Egyptian mummy, having been burnt to a crisp by Orton in their Firefly Inferno match at TLC 2020 - which was Wyatt's last onscreen appearance.

Alexa shoved Orton into The Fiend, allowing Bray to hit Sister Abigail. Bliss then straddled Randy for a successful pinfall.

Though The Fiend hasn't been around in three months, Bliss has maintained his looming threat by tormenting Orton on a weekly basis, with black goo and fireballs a constant feature. Wyatt and Orton are now expected to "wrestle" each other in a cinematic match at WrestleMania 37.
