The Fiend Still Wants To Be Friends With Seth Rollins
Bray Wyatt extends an olive branch with his offer of friendship.
Since undergoing a major character overhaul to become The Fiend, Bray Wyatt has had an odd way of dealing with fellow superstars. Now, of course, Wyatt’s menacing alter-ego has his sights firmly set on current WWE Universal Champion, Seth Rollins.
Previously, we’ve seen Wyatt take to social media to apologise to victims such as Jerry Lawler, Kurt Angle, and Finn Balor – even wishing Finn a happy birthday! – whilst also reaching out to The Rock and John Cena to seek forgiveness for past misdemeanours.
After assaulting Rollins at Sunday’s Clash of Champions PPV and on last night’s edition of Raw, Wyatt has now once again taken to Twitter – this time to reiterate the offer of friendship that he made to Rollins and Roman Reigns earlier this year.
‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt is to challenge for Seth Rollins’ Universal Championship at October 6th’s WWE Hell in a Cell PPV. That match will be one of two bouts on that PPV – the other being Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship – that will take place within the confines of the sinister cell structure.
Continuing his theme of attacking WWE legends, last night also saw The Fiend layout Kane - which means we should all keep our eyes peeled for an imminent apology tweet heading the way of the Devil’s Favourite Demon.
