The Miz became a two-time WWE Champion at last night's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase to pin Drew McIntyre after Bobby Lashley had levelled the Scot following his successful title defence in the titular Raw match.

A surprising move, given Miz's recent losing form (he has won just three singles matches since January 2020). Nonetheless, it happened, and The A-Lister knows how upset a lot of you are about it.

Miz cut a straight-down-the-lens promo shortly after Elimination Chamber 2021, ripping into online critics and those who claim he isn't fit to be WWE Champion, claiming the hatred fuels him (h/t Wrestling Inc. for the transcriptions):-

“Understand that I told you so. Whenever someone says I wasn’t thinking on their level, I am a master strategist, I think further than anybody else in all of WWE. I didn’t just take respect, I demanded it through all the WWE Universe, and I could care less if everybody’s on the internet going, ‘No, Miz doesn’t deserve it, oh Miz shouldn’t be WWE Champion!’
“Cry, go ahead and cry, and keep on doing it because that is the fuel that lights my fire. I am your WWE Champion, whether you like it or not. Ten years ago we had an Angry Miz Girl and I hope, and I pray, that there are thousands upon thousands, millions of Angry Miz Girls right here, right now, sobbing, weeping, wishing that Drew McIntyre was still their WWE Champion. He is not, I am. So this is me saying I am now content being awesome. See you at WrestleMania, or at Monday Night RAW, whichever I feel like because I am champion and I do whatever the hell I want!”

Whether or not Miz actually makes it to WrestleMania 37 as champion remains to be seen. The Lashley aspect of this has to be heading somewhere, perhaps even Bobby defeating Miz for the belt before 'Mania, leading to The Hurt Business man facing McIntyre on 10/11 April.

We'll likely find out more on tonight's episode of Raw.
