Especially online, people who like The Fiend really like The Fiend. The character’s detractors are as passionate as those who love it, making it the most divisive in wrestling today, and Wyatt inspires unbreaking devotion in some and fierce disdain in others. Rarely will you meet someone who will answer “eh, he’s okay,” when asked for their opinion on the 34-year-old.
Bray’s fans’ passion is such that it’s reasonable to assume a sizeable number will follow him to wherever he lands next. This is a credit to him, particularly as so much of what made it to WWE television came from his mind.
The issue is that pinpointing Windham Rotunda’s next wrestling destination isn’t easy.
Indeed, the problem with Bray Wyatt that no one wants to talk about is that he has just been cut from the one wrestling promotion that fit him better than any other. In 2021, no other company that could realistically sign Bray is as welcoming to his specific brand of creativity, the supernatural, and stretching the definition of “professional wrestling” as the McMahon Content House.
This is particularly true of WWE's closest wrestling competition.
