As of late December, 'The Best in the World's absolutely incredible Survivor Series 2023 return sat at the very top of the WWE social pile, earning a whopping 105 million views across all social media platforms.

What a moment. What a record.

But then The Rock decided to show up on Raw's first episode of 2024, a.k.a. Day 1. And it wasn't long before that impressive record was People's Elbowed to smithereens.

In fact, by the time last night's SmackDown was on the air, 'The Great One's electrifying promo work opposite Jinder Mahal had brought in a staggering 171 million+ views! And as WWE confirmed on social media, this is very much a number that has broken WWE's "social media record."

That much-watched appearance also saw Rocky dropping a 'Head of the Table' reference on the red show, with many assuming this means a The Rock vs. Roman Reigns blockbuster could be on the cards for this year's WrestleMania.

Nothing has been confirmed at time of writing. 'The People's Champion' breaking yet another WWE record, though, is very much official.
