Ava Raine, daughter of WWE legend The Rock, made her NXT debut on Tuesday, revealing herself as the red-hooded-sweatshirt-wearing mystery woman aligned with Schism.

After weeks of being shrouded in an out-in-the-open secret, Joe Gacy and his Dyad set up Raine to remove her mask and announce her arrival as the group's newest member. She spoke briefly about how the Schism's love "defies any preconceived notion of who I'm supposed to be," adding that her new family completes her.

In delivering that promo, Raine seemed to wink and nod at her familial heritage as the daughter of The Rock, granddaughter of Rocky Johnson, and great-granddaughter of "High Chief" Peter Maivia, and also brush it aside.

Raine has been training at the WWE Performance Center since February 2020, having signed a contract with the company in May 2022. According to Cagematch.com, she had not had any official matches yet.

It's unclear if Raine will begin in-ring competition soon or will simply be an on-air character with the soliloquy-happy Schism. Although the group has been a mid-card heel act that got its comeuppance from Cameron Grimes and the Good Brothers last week, all three original members are talented wrestlers. This could be a relaunch of the group, or it could simply be a way for the fourth-generation superstar to cut her teeth in the business.
