Tessa Blanchard, Will Ospreay, and Jordynne Grace top the list of wrestling names to shoot on The Sandman after the ECW legend's criticism of women's wrestling over the weekend.

This story began with a tweet from Impact Wrestling's Grace, who claimed that Sandman approached her and three others at a show, telling them that "women main eventing is 'wrong,' and 'any male wrestler with any sort experience would agree.'"

The incident presumably went down at the weekend's WrestleCade Supershow event, where Grace wrestled Rosemary, Su Yung, and Taya Valkyrie in the main event.

Unsurprisingly, this led to all kinds of responses from disagreeing parties, including current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay:-

The most intense rebuttal came from Impact standout Tessa Blanchard. Addressing the crowd at WrestleCade, she referred to Sandman as "the old ECW guy with the beer," calling his viewpoints a "crock of horse sh*t," adding that he was showing a lack of faith in the wrestlers and fans.

Blanchard is well-positioned in Impact at the moment and is currently booked to face World Champion Sami Callihan at the promotion's next pay-per-view, Hard To Kill (12 January).
