It was announced earlier this week that The Shield will be teaming together for WWE's upcoming United Kingdom tour that kicks-off next month.

Quick to jump on the news was UK Tournament standout Trent Seven who teased an interesting idea for who the trio could face at the forthcoming house shows...

Could Seven's tweet suggests that current UK Champion Pete Dunne, former UK Champion Tyler Bate, and himself could bring their Progress faction 'British Strong Style' into WWE to fight The Shield?

The threesome dominate UK promotion 'Progress Wrestling', and are all fan favourites back in Britain where they regularly team on indie shows. A reformation of the faction in the big leagues to take on The Shield would excite the UK crowds, but whether it actually happens is another matter.

In WWE so far, Dunne has been a heel whilst Bate and Seven are faces. Bate and Dunne in particular have had a heated rivalry including their near perfect match at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. For these sworn enemies to suddenly team together would go against the story the three have built in their time with WWE.

However, anything can happen at a house show when the cameras are off.
