Having not wrestled a televised bout since 16 September's Hell In A Cell pay-per-view (where she faced Ronda Rousey), Alexa Bliss is currently one of WWE's most notable in-ring absentees, and isn't expected to return anytime soon.

Though a single concussion was originally reported as the reason behind her absence, there's apparently more to it than that, with Dave Meltzer reporting that the former Raw Women's Champion has actually suffered several concussions over the past few months, thus necessitating her inactivity.

Speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer noted that WWE are being extremely cautious with Bliss. They won't rush her back, and although she has remained on television throughout her troubles, there's currently no word on when she'll be cleared to compete again.

A concussion suffered a few days prior to Evolution saw Alexa pulled from an advertised tag match pitting her and Mickie James against Trish Stratus and Lita. She was named as the captain of Raw's women's Survivor Series team on last week's Raw, and is expected to name her five-person group tonight, but won't be able to compete at the pay-per-view herself and will manage the team instead.
