The Undertaker To Miss WWE WrestleMania 35?
Phenom not scheduled for first time since 2000.
Speaking on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer let slip that The Undertaker's incredible WrestleMania run looks likely to come to an end this year.
We haven't heard a peep out of The Phenom since his calamitous Crown Jewel defeat alongside Kane opposite Shawn Michaels and Triple H. He wasn't featured at the Rumble, and with the build to the supershow beginning in earnest, there's no clear indication that WWE are preparing another WrestleMania opponent for him.
Meltzer confirmed that 'Taker's schedule is currently "up in the air":
I can't imagine The Undertaker in a nothing match. I think he's either in a big match or he's not there at all and right now he's not in a big match. [...] I can say as of four or five days ago he’s not listed for the card
Obviously, things can change at the drop of black stetson hat, but for now at least, it seems Undertaker is set to miss his first WrestleMania in sixteen years. 'Taker, who will turn 54 before WrestleMania 35 rolls around, sat out WrestleMania 2000 after a torn pectoral muscle consigned him to the sidelines for eight months. Prior to that, the only other WrestleMania the Deadman had skipped since his debut was WrestleMania X.
