8. "Skyscraper" Mean Mark Callous Enters World Championship Wrestling (1990)
By 1990, Mark Calaway was in World Championship Wrestling and certainly looking more confident alongside Teddy Long (yes, that's the former Smackdown GM and referee as a manager in early 90s-era WCW) and territory veteran Dan Spivey as the Skyscrapers tag team. Calaway replaced Sid in the combination and performed admirably. Smarter than what was done in Memphis, note that he only speaks for twelve seconds of this sixty second promo. Gaining in confidence he nails that smaller section and is clearly honing his craft as a professional.
