After dispatching of Randy Orton at Armageddon at the end of 2005, Undertaker resurfaced at the end of the 2006 Royal Rumble PPV, when he crashed Kurt Angles World Heavyweight Championship title defense celebration. But he didnt just show up and announce he wanted a title shot. Making the I want the title waistline gesture would be too cliché. Instead, Taker arrived on a horse-drawn cart, flanked by torch-bearing druids. He then made the I want the title gesture (which Tazz called). But the Deadman wasnt done. He jerked his arms skyward, and lightning shot from his hands to the lighting rig above the ring. Then on Takers command, lightning shot down from the rig to the four ringposts, causing the ring to collapse. To Angles credit, he didnt look terrified, but more shocked to see The Undertaker and then a state of disbelief at the pyrotechnics. But really, was all this necessary? Undertaker blows up the ring in an effort to get a title shot? Oh, and he not only didnt win, Taker wouldnt get the WHC until a full year later at WrestleMania XXIII.
