The Undertaker's 7 WWE World Championship Reigns Ranked From Worst To Best

From six days to six months, which of 'The Phenom's title reigns were truly immortal?

In his three decades of dominance, The Undertaker has undoubtedly amassed one of the (if not the) greatest professional wrestling careers of all time. During that time, he has accomplished some incredible feats, such as innovating some of WWE's most iconic match stipulations, winning the Royal Rumble match and, of course, carving out the greatest undefeated streak in sports entertainment history.

While his multiple title victories also contributed a great deal to that legendary career, they are one of the lesser-talked about aspects of it, simply because The Undertaker (and later, The Streak) was such a commodity on his own that he never needed World Championships in order to get people's attention.

That being said, he did win the gold multiple times throughout his career, embarking on seven legendary title reigns - which consisted of three stints as WWE Champion, one as WWE Undisputed Champion and three as World Heavyweight Champion - as he battled the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, CM Punk, Bret Hart, Batista, Edge and Chris Jericho in some unforgettable championship bouts over the years.

With that in mind, let's reflect on 'Taker's gold-winning days and, while we're at it, rank the reigns.

7. WWE Championship (1st) 27 November 1991 - 3 December 1991

After a year of dominating both future Hall of Famers and a truck load of jobbers, The Undertaker's journey to the top of the WWE food chain came full circle at Survivor Series 1991 - the first anniversary of his debut - when he battled 'The Immortal' Hulk Hogan for the coveted WWE Championship.

His victory over Hogan was a star-making moment, as it solidified this walking undead menace as a legitimate threat to the non-jobbers of the WWE locker room, and it was far more important to his career than the subsequent title reign was - and it's a good thing too because it only lasted six measly days before 'The Hulkster' won the belt back.
