Imagine turning down a guaranteed $500,000 each.

That's what The Young Bucks did a few years back, but both brothers told the 'Talk N' Shop' podcast that they mulled over Triple H's generous offer before knocking it back. Matt and Nick Jackson did, however, appreciate that this was mega money - they were flattered by how highly WWE thought of them.

Matt already knew what some of his friends (like Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) had been offered before that. He was also aware that many newbies in WWE were not offered anything close to 500k; a fair few of The Bucks' mates were on $150,000 max.

This was a huge compliment then.

ROH, the team's main home base pre-AEW, "couldn't come close to that". They couldn't match the duo's ambition either. Matt and Nick wanted to make "a million" as soon as possible, and realised that just wasn't going to happen in Ring Of Honor.

WWE's offer wasn't on the table forever. Triple H told the siblings that he'd need an answer quickly, but they ultimately turned it down. Then, The Bucks went on to revolutionise the business by forming All Elite.

As you do.
