No, it's not Mick Foley. Someone else regrets taking a commentary gig with WWE.

Ex-WWE man Jonathan Coachman has admitted that he "never wanted" to do commentary with the company when he returned in 2016.

Coach told Chris Van Vliet that he actually wanted to move into golf when he left ESPN. The presenter wasn't sure that he'd be able to crack into that market immediately though, so he agreed terms on a return to pro wrestling. His excitement for that WWE comeback faded when he started doing colour comms.

Vince McMahon told Coachman that he didn't want him to return to his old "heel Coach" role. The boss was reportedly worried that it'd hurt Jonathan's chances of spinning back out of wrestling into a serious sports anchor gig elsewhere.

That was not what Coachman wanted to hear, but he could see where his boss was coming from.

Coach also revealed that Corey Graves was never really comfortable working a three-man dynamic with him and Michael Cole. He added that he likes Graves, and understands why - the trio situation didn't suit him either.

Coachman finished his point by saying things would have to be on his terms if he ever returned to the company.
