Having been one of several talents released by WWE this past June, Tony Nese was spotted in the crowd at last night's AEW Dynamite.

Nese was seen during the Bryan Danielson vs. Dustin Rhodes and Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer bouts, with those two contests being part of the company's World Title Eliminator Tournament.

Not just was the Premier Athlete shown on camera, he was acknowledged by the announcers and put over as one of the hottest free agents on the planet. Added to this, Tony Khan has publicly talked up how great a talent Nese is.

While nothing's official at this stage, all signs seem to be pointing towards Tony Nese becoming #AllElite sooner rathe than later, or at least working a few dates for Khan's promotion. A former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Nese has worked a handful of independent shows since his WWE non-compete clause expired.

For Nese, he first began working with WWE back in 2016 as part of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament. After signing a full-time deal with the company, he'd then spent the next five years as a staple of WWE's cruiserweight division before being released on 25 June 2021.
