Thunder Rosa & No Way Jose Debut At IMPACT Slammiversary 2021
Two of the many surprises served up by IMPACT at Slammiversary.
As part of several surprises dotted throughout last night's Slammiversary PPV, both Thunder Rosa and No Way Jose made their IMPACT Wrestling debuts.
After weeks of intrigue over who the mystery challenger for Deonna Purrazzo's Knockouts Championship would be at Slammiversary, it was former NWA World Women's Champion Thunder Rosa who stepped up to take on the Virutosa.
In an impressive back-and-forth encounter, Purrazzo ended up retaining the gold after hitting her patented Queen's Gambit for the win. That surprise debut of Thunder Rosa was then followed up post-match by the IMPACT return of Mickie James - who offered Purrazzo a spot on the upcoming NWA Empowerrr card.
As for No Way Jose, he was revealed to be Fallah Bahh's tag partner at Slammiversary. Dropping the Jose and simply going by No Way, the charismatic performer was a late replacement for TJP.
No way and Fallah Bahh would be unsuccessful in challenging for the IMPACT Tag Team Championships in a match that saw the Good Brothers walk away with the titles previously held by Violent By Design's Rhino and Joe Doering. The pairing of Willie Mack and Rich Swann also featured in that contest.
