Title Match Added To WWE NXT On 1 June
MSK and Legado del Fantasma lead WWE's latest batch of NXT match announcements.
MSK will put their NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against Legado del Fantasma's Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde on the black and gold brand's 1 June episode.
This was announced during last night's show. Wilde and Mendoza were involved in a backstage segment with Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher, who have also been picking up victories as a tandem. This fed into them meeting in the ring later on, with Legado emerging victorious following interference from the Grizzled Young Veterans, who attacked Ciampa.
With Ciampa weakened, Legado punched their ticket for a title shot by taking advantage.
Technical, Legado del Fantasma already have a win over MSK on their record, having bested Wes Lee, Nash Carter, and Kushida in a trios match a few weeks ago.
Last night's other match announcements included Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon vs. Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai on next week's show, which is for a shot at the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles. That episode will also see Bobby Fish's first match since returning last week as he faces Pete Dunne one on one.
