Titus O'Neil Being Sued For WWE Swerved Prank Gone Wrong
The legal action could cost Titus a cool $1.2 million.
According to a report from TMZ Sports, cameraman David Anderson, who worked on the first season of Swerved on the WWE Network, has filed a $1.2 million lawsuit against Raw superstar Titus O'Neil.
It relates to an incident that occurred on May 18th, 2015, when Anderson was filming a scene involving an electric shock prank. Titus was the victim of said shock, and Anderson alleges that O'Neil kicked his camera out of his hand after being zapped by a cattle prod. He claims that he was then told the leave the premises out of fear that O'Neil would continue assaulting him.
According to Anderson, the incident resulted in serious injuries to his hand, fingers, and wrist, hence his hefty damages claim. Filed in Los Angeles, the court documents state that no criminal charges have been filed, but it's unclear whether or not the police were involved.
The case is another tough break for Titus, who was handed an excessive suspension for playfully grabbing Vince McMahon's arm last year, and has been demeaned on television ever since. Neither he nor the company have commented on the situation yet.
