During this week€™s broadcast of Bound for Glory 2015 on Challenge TV in the UK and Ireland, TNA President Dixie Carter announced that television cameras will be rolling during the Maximum Impact 8 tour of the UK this January. This means that all three stops on the tour will be double Impact Wrestlng TV tapings, giving TNA six weeks of television emanating from their most fervent fanbase, the United Kingdom. This announcement also gives fans reassurance to a degree over TNA€™s future. While its US based television future is open to speculation, Impact Wrestling is also aired in 120 other countries around the world. TNA €˜s UK tour traditionally gets the biggest live audiences of the year for the company, and so they will no doubt be delighted that this will be seen by fans around the world. Carter has previously said that, despite previous reports in the wrestling press, Impact Wrestling would continue to be broadcast in the US on Destination America for the rest of the year, and that negotiations regarding 2016 were ongoing. Carter told WhatCulture, €œAs everyone knows, the TNA MAXIMUM IMPACT Tour is always my favourite time of the year and I can't wait to see you the fans in the UK again in January. I can promise unparalleled in-ring action, as well as some big surprises that we have planned for when we return to Manchester, London and Birmingham in January 2016.€

TNA have also announced nine more names for the tour. Scotland€™s Grado, one of the best comedy performers currently in the business, has won the hearts of TNA fans around the world and has been invited to compete in his second UK tour for the company. Also added to the roster are TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards), X Division Champion Tigre Uno, making his first UK appearance, India€™s Mahabali Shera, Mr Anderson, TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim, along with Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne. They join the already announced Kurt Angle, possibly making his final tour of the UK as an active wrestler, Bobby Lashley, Brits Drew Galloway, Mark Andrews and Rockstar Spud, knockouts Taryn Terrell and Brooke, Robbie E and the two men who were embroiled in a controversy over the TNA World Heavyweight title, Matt Hardy and EC3. Carter added, €œNot only will fans see all your favourite TNA Stars and Knockouts , this is also their chance to be on TV themselves. On the last UK Tour, we saw Kurt Angle win the World Heavyweight Championship, Rockstar Spud shaved bald and Drew Galloway make his TNA debut. I can promise you that there will be plenty of big matches and surprises when we come back in January 2016.€ The tour hits the Manchester Arena on Friday 29th January, Wembley Arena on Saturday 30th January, and the Birmingham Arena on Sunday 31st January.
