Ring of Honor Wrestling had to be overjoyed when the television ratings data was released for Wednesday night's broadcast on Destination America this week. The company drew their largest audience to date since debuting on the network in June. The October 28 edition of ROH drew 227,000 viewers during their 11:00 p.m. ET broadcast, the only airing of the show on Destination America. This shattered the previous record that ROH had for viewership on the channel, which was 175,000 viewers three weeks ago on October 7. The number was also up dramatically compared to last week's show, which drew 132,000 viewers. TNA's Impact Wrestling drew 266,000 viewers on the first-run airing of the show at 9:00 p.m. ET. The replay following ROH at 12:00 a.m. ET drew an additional 98,000 viewers. Between both airings, Impact garnered 364,000 viewers total on October 28. This was an increase compared to last week's show, which drew a total of 327,000 viewers (264,000 viewers at 9:00 and 63,000 for the replay). The replay was up more than 50 percent this week, most likely due to ROH's record-setting audience in the time slot immediately proceeding it. It was announced in September that Destination America will cease airing TNA in early 2016. Ring Of Honor's deal with the network expires in December and no decision has been made as of yet concerning their future on Destination America. With the company nearly equaling TNA's first-run airing viewership this week, despite very little promotion in comparison to TNA, ROH has only strengthened their case for a contract extension with the network.
