This week's news that Brock Lesnar's WWE contract had elapsed without being renewed, effectively making a free agent, led to immediate speculation on 'The Beast Incarnate's' next move.

Naturally, WWE's biggest competitors were thrown into the mix. AEW was bandied around straight away, along with other propositions like a UFC return, and while the most likely outcome is Lesnar ending up back in WWE whenever he decides he wants to work again, the speculation continues.

Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc. asked AEW President Tony Khan if he had any interest in signing Lesnar during today's All Out media conference call. Khan's response? "I cannot comment on that at this time."

Tony went on, saying he had enjoyed Brock's work for many years and stating his belief that Lesnar doesn't get enough credit for being an all-time great wrestler, though he closed by reiterating that he can't say anything on the matter.

An interesting stance from the AEW head honcho. It's one that will likely stoke the fires of speculation even further, as he refused to rule out the prospect of 'The Beast' showing up in his promotion. Still, this would be an extremely costly move for a company that has lost a big chunk of its revenue due to the ongoing global health crisis.
