Tony Khan Says AEW Double Or Nothing "Kicked The Crap Out Of WrestleMania"

Tony Khan hosted a special media conference call ahead of AEW All Out earlier today, during which he referred to the success of his company's Double Or Nothing 2020 pay-per-view as one of the biggest highs of his tenure as AEW President thus far, calling the show a "bastion of ingenuity."
Knowing he was creating a headline in the process, Khan also commented that he thought Double Or Nothing "kicked the crap out of WrestleMania [36]". He believes that AEW had the better pay-per-view, though he noted that his company is fortunate in that they were able to run their big show later into the global health crisis, though AEW was still the only major company doing meaningful testing at the time of DoN.
Continuing, Khan said that the whole Double Or Nothing weekend was a great high for him, emphasising how proud he was of what AEW was able to put together.
Headlined by the wild, cinematic Stadium Stampede, Double Or Nothing drew widespread critical acclaim on 23 May, particularly for bouts like Jungle Boy vs. MJF and Brodie Lee vs. Jon Moxley. It was also the night Brian Cage debuted for the company, winning the Casino Ladder Match.
