Top 10 WWE Divas Of 2014

Big years for Paige, Charlotte, AJ Lee and others. Who tops the list?

The women of World Wrestling Entertainment play an important role in their company. While they are not considered main event players like the men, they still get a lot of air time and thanks to shows like Total Divas they are being on focused on more than ever. This year probably set a record with the number of divas matches on PPV because several of them had two divas matches instead of just one. The term "diva" is a WWE brand term used to separate the women from the men. It's just like how all the men are called "superstars" because WWE doesn't want to call them wrestlers even though that's what they are. This is going to be a mix of women on the main roster, NXT and women that don't wrestle at all or very often. There are some women on the main roster that really have no reason being there while others have been in NXT for about two years waiting for their shot. It was an interesting year for two call-ups in WWE. Paige got called up and became one of the top divas in the company. Meanwhile, Emma was also brought up (actually before Paige) and barely did anything noteworthy this year other than nearly getting fired for accidentally shoplifting. That's a problem with WWE right now. Being on the main roster should be the reward, but if you watch all the shows then you know NXT divas get better storylines and matches that are longer too. They also have character development. Here's a look at ten of the best divas in WWE from this past year.
