Keith Lee has freely admitted that his first year in AEW has been "unpredictable and confusing" at times.

The former WWE star, who signed on with Tony Khan's promotion in February 2022, told Comicbook.com that he finds it "hard" to sum up his first 12 months or so on the All Elite roster. Lee exploded out of the gate by qualifying for the 'Face Of The Revolution' ladder match before last year's pay-per-view, but then quickly faded into the midcard pack.

AEW's next move was to position Keith alongside fellow WWE alumni Swerve Strickland in the tag-team division - together, they held the AEW Tag-Team Titles for 70 days between July-September 2022. Since then, Strickland has turned heel, Lee has taken a sabbatical, and now he's back warring with Swerve's new Mogul Affiliates crew.

When trying to put a bow on his first year in AEW, Keith said: "There’s a lot in this industry you can’t really put your finger on". It's clear he doesn't really know what think about everything that has happened, but he'd like to do bigger and better things in 2023.
