Adam Cole's status for Sunday's (1 October) AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view remains questionable, with the promotion set to address the situation on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite.

During yesterday's pre-WrestleDream media call, Khan commented that Cole and MJF vs. The Righteous for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships was still slotted in as the WrestleDream main event. Cole, however, is suffering from a leg injury incurred on last week's Dynamite, which will be broached on tonight's show.

Said Khan (h/t Fightful):

"The Righteous match, as of now, that is still slotted for the event. Adam Cole, he was a little bit ginger on that leg, I think people saw. We’ll address that on Dynamite. Very excited for tomorrow’s Dynamite. It should be a great show and we’ll address Adam Cole and everything happening at WrestleDream on Dynamite."

Cole hurt his leg while assisting MJF in last week's Dynamite main event opposite Samoa Joe, and was visibly limping after hopping down from the raised ramp to the floor.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez stated that they didn't expect Cole to make it to WrestleDream, though they didn't expect AEW to announce anything prior to Dynamite as they would turn it into plans for television.

MJF and Cole have been ROH Tag Team Champions since dethroning Aussie Open at last month's All In event.
