Top Free Agent Signs For AEW
Another weak, another big roster addition for All Elite Wrestling...
Brody King has signed with All Elite Wrestling.
This is according to Bodyslam.net's Cassidy Haynes, who consulted with several sources, learning over Thanksgiving weekend that the 34-year-old had inked a deal with Tony Khan's promotion. It is believed that the deal was agreed soon after Ring Of Honor announced its impending hiatus in October, releasing every contracted wrestler in the process.
King had been signed to ROH since December 2018, having broken out on the indies through such promotions as PWG and MLW. He has spent the past few years working primarily for the Sinclair Broadcasting-helmed group and on NJPW STRONG, which he should theoretically be able to keep doing while under AEW contract, given the All Elite/New Japan working relationship.
Malakai Black, who currently holds the PWG Tag Team Titles with King, teased Brody's arrival in a segment airing on last night's Winter Is Coming special:-

AEW is yet to produce the usual "X Is #AllElite" graphic for Brody. We can likely expect this once he shows up on television.
Aside from wrestling, King has stayed busy by fronting beatdown hardcore band God's Hate in 2021. Their bruising self-titled album was released to considerable praise back in March.
