Top TNA Act Shockingly DONE Ahead Of AMC Debut (TNA News)
The Rascalz no longer contracted to TNA.
Ahead of the company's big AMC debut tomorrow night, it appears that the Rascalz are done with TNA.
Previously, the 1 January edition of iMPACT - taped on 7 December - saw Myron Reed defeat his fellow Rascalz Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz to earn a shot at Leon Slater's X Division Championship on the AMC premiere episode; that coming after the Rascalz had asked TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella earlier in the night if one of them could get a match against the Youngest in Charge.
However, Slater vs. Reed has been quietly removed from all advertising for tomorrow's iMPACT on AMC, though Leon has been mentioned in a subsequent TNA press release hyping the AMC debut. It's worth noting that neither Myron Reed nor the Rascalz were referenced in that press release.
Per Mike Johnson over at PWInsider, the belief is that the Rascalz are now no longer contracted to TNA.
This comes after reports late last year that Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel's existing TNA deals were up at the end of 2025, and Myron Reed's bio on X now lists him as "FREE AGENT." As for Dezmond Xavier, the former Wes Lee returned to TNA at Turning Point in November in the aftermath of his WWE release the previous month. It was reported at the time, and since, that Xavier has not been under contract with TNA as part of that return.
Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Zavier have been teaming together as far back as 2015, and 2018 saw them take on the Rascalz name and bring in Trey Miguel and Myron Reed. From there, variations of the group have competed in notable independents such as PWG, CZW, REVOLVER, House of Glory, and Black Label Pro, before Wentz, Zavier, and Miguel signed with TNA - well, then iMPACT Wrestling - later in 2018. While Myron Reed would leave the Rascalz at that point, he'd return to the fold when Wenz and Miguel reunited the Rascalz on the indies in 2022, and he'd then join the duo in TNA in 2023. Of course, from December 2020 to April 2022, Wentz and Zavier, as Nash Carter and Wes Lee, would work as MSK in NXT.
It remains to be seen whether the Rascalz will be back in TNA at some point, but, for now at least, all four men are free agents.
