Top WWE Stable To Add Shocking New Member?
Heavy teases on last night's Raw that this NXT call-up will join up with headline stable.
The "JD" McDonagh in JD McDonagh could well stand for "Judgment Day" in the near future if teases on last night's edition of Monday Night Raw come to fruition.
McDonagh had a busy evening, and after concluding things in a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley, the camera revealed The Judgment Day's Finn Bálor looking on from a distance. WRKD Wrestling followed up on the angle, noting that;
"There have been discussions backstage of JD McDonagh joining The Judgement Day. The connection and angle is that Finn Bálor was the one who trained McDonagh how to wrestle."
The new recruit from NXT made his formal red brand debut last night, and though he was eliminated in an Intercontinental Championship Battle Royal, an attack on Dolph Ziggler suggests that 'The Show Off' could be the first programme for the former Cruiserweight Champion.
Other than their nationalities and strikingly similar looks, McDonagh and Bálor have been tethered together in the past. The former Universal Champion fought McDonagh (going by his old name Jordan Devlin) at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool in January 2019, building on the growing comparisons between the two.
