Top WWE Star Appears On SmackDown Despite Injury
This wrestler's recent injury woes might not be as bad as first feared.
Bayley was featured on this week's episode of SmackDown after all despite being struck down by a nasty-looking leg injury during WWE's latest house show tour.
The Damage CTRL leader accompanied IYO SKY to ringside for her match vs. Charlotte Flair, then fled the scene once a video of Shotzi played on the tron. Later, Bayley encouraged IYO to get her things together so they could leave the arena - she's been booked to be totally freaked out by Shotzi's behaviour.
Bayley suffered her injury during Sunday's live event in Salisbury, Maryland. It happened during a three-way bout vs. Asuka and Charlotte. The match ended early when Asuka pinned Flair, but Bayley did tweet to reassure fans that she'd be fine long-term shortly afterwards.
It's worth noting that the heel didn't work a match (in front of the cameras or dark) on Friday night in Orlando. She was only there to do guest commentary during SKY vs. Charlotte, then work some reactions for Shotzi's video.
