Top WWE Star Calls Bray Wyatt's Character "Difficult" To Work With
This current WWE favourite doesn't have fond memories of working with Bray Wyatt.
Seth Rollins has described Bray Wyatt's offshoot 'Fiend' character as "difficult" to work with.
When discussing the chances of another feud with the gimmick, Rollins told BT Sport that he didn't exactly have fun when programmed against Wyatt in 2019. In fact, by his own admission, Seth found the whole thing challenging - "I just wasn’t good at it".
Explaining, Rollins added that he struggled to mix reality with the bizarre otherworld Bray's alter ego was known for. Worse, a non-finish at Hell In A Cell p*ssed everyone watching off, and that made the storyline even more of a chore.
It just wasn't a great experience for him.
Ariel Helwani (who was conducting the interview) asked Seth if he'd like to try again with Wyatt. Choosing his words very carefully, Rollins said: "I would love to have another crack at working with Windham Rotunda". Spot the difference? Seth didn't mention his 'Fiend' character in there, at least not at first.
The whole episode left a bad taste in Rollins' mouth, and he credits Bray's gimmick with killing his own 'Beast Slayer' persona that had turned him into WWE's top babyface.
