The former TBS Champion was heavily rumoured to be making her next main roster appearance in the titular showdown on February 24th, and a accidentally-released blurred match graphic on socials appeared to confirm as much. Now, plans might have changed.

Per PWInsider (h/t Sports Illustrated)

"WWE was looking to add Jade Cargill to the women's Elimination Chamber match, but that idea has been tossed. It's important to note that Cargill is reportedly expected to attend the upcoming WWE SmackDown taping. It won't be long to find out whether or not the company pivots once again."

The match currently features Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan, with all three winning qualifying matches across Raw and SmackDown to win their spots. Two more scheduled bouts were due to take place on this Friday's edition of the blue brand, with Tiffany Stratton taking on Shotzi and Naomi taking on Zelina Vega, though one of those may now not go ahead as result of an injury sustained by Shotzi during an NXT taping. The remaining spot was put up for grabs in a Last Chance Battle Royal being put together by Adam Pearce on Monday's Raw, but there was no confirmation of the entrants.

As of now, it may be that Cargill isn't one of them.
