A major WWE SmackDown worker wouldn't sniff at being managed by Paul Heyman.

Drew McIntyre wouldn't be against the idea of working onscreen with Paul Heyman at some point in the future.

The Scot, who seems destined to hold the Undisputed WWE Universal Title someday, told 'Superstar Crossover' a "bad" Drew working alongside Heyman could work on company TV. Going further, McIntyre teased that "there may be something interesting down the line" for both.

Drew did add that he was only "playing fantasy booker" - his first choice as a manager would be Bobby Heenan. That can't happen though, and it's not like Paul E would be a poor second pick. In fact, seeing a heel McIntyre backed by Heyman on Friday nights could be fun.

Longtime babyface Drew knows he'd need something huge if he was ever going to turn heel. On that, he said there would have to be "a reason" for going "to the dark side". McIntyre doesn't really like the thought of switching alignments for the sake of it.

Could he be convinced if Heyman came as part of the package though? It looks like it.

Cue McIntyre in a "Paul Heyman Guy" t-shirt in 2023. Maybe.
