Trinity Fatu Makes Return To Wrestling This Friday!
The former Naomi's next move following WWE departure is finally revealed.
Trinity Fatu is set to return to wrestling this week!
This is according to PWInsider, who have reported that she will debut for the organisation this Friday, working the Spring Slugfest television tapings.
The debut will mark the former Naomi's first formal appearance for an organisation since she acrimoniously split from WWE last May.
Fatu and the former Sasha Banks Mercedes Moné left their Women's Tag Team Titles on then-Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis' desk in protest to the booking of their characters, and neither have worked for the company since. Moné debuted for NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom on January 4th and has also wrestled for Stardom. Beyond replying to an Instagram follower in March, she hasn't spoken about her status with the organisation, but the Impact talks at long last appear to confirm a formal split.
Fatu has been backstage at various New Japan Pro Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling, and Ring Of Honor shows in recent months, and her spot in the front row of ROH's Supercard Of Honor 2023 was referenced by current Women's Champion Athena following her win over Yuka Sakazaki on the show.
There's no current indication of what she'll do on the Impact show, nor have the company elected to promote her as of press time.
