As the 20 January 2003 edition of Raw went off the air, Triple H joined Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton in beating the snot out of Scott Steiner. That, as it turned out, was the start of Evolution. The group would go on to become one of WWE's finest ever.

Triple H was the established main event star, Flair was the legend, Batista was the muscle and Orton was the blue chip future prospect. It was a match made in heaven.
