Granted, blame for this disaster should be down to Warrior and the booking team. Still, this was one of Triple H's early matches that stands out as abysmal. In just 1 minute and 39 seconds, The Ultimate Warrior beat Hunter Hearst Helmsley clean. It was one of the most blatant squash matches in WWE history, a personal embarrassment for Hunter who must have been seething inside. Anyone who thinks Hunter squashes talent needs to watch what he went through here. This was a real squash. It needs to be seen to be believed when Helmsley hits a perfect pedigree on Warrior, only for the face painted star to instantly stand up like nothing had happened. It's a wonder that the finisher ever got over again after that. Ultimate Warrior next hit his trademark splash and pinned the future McMahon family member with a knee on the chest. It sucked. It was humiliating. A contest that could have ruined Triple H's career. To his credit, he recovered and went on to become a much bigger star than Warrior ever was.
