Triple H Absent From WWE Raw This Week
Triple H missed this week's WWE Raw. Here's what is known...
Paul 'Triple H' Levesque was not at this week's episode of WWE Raw, though the Chief Content Officer isn't expected to be missing from television tapings for long.
Multiple Fightful Select sources have indicated that they didn't anticipate Levesque not being backstage at Raw in Baltimore, Maryland. 'The Game' was, however, in a "great mood" for Money in the Bank 2023 on Saturday, showing excitement for the premium live event's success.
Triple H's Raw absence was purportedly "a planned night away," with nothing else to it, though talent wasn't informed of the reason. Levesque is now expected to return to his backstage duties for this Friday's episode of SmackDown.
With the Chief Content Officer out, Bruce Prichard ran Raw. This is typically the case whenever Levesque isn't at a broadcast. WWE Executive Chairman, Vince McMahon, wasn't at Raw, nor was he in the United Kingdom for Money in the Bank.
Triple H has reigned as WWE's Chief Content Officer since July 2022, when McMahon was forced to resign in disgrace amidst multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. Vince returned to the company's Board of Directors in his Executive Chairman's role this January.
