A new report on WWE's creative hierarchy paints a picture of a frustrated Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, who may stand as the company's Chief Content Officer (and de facto head of creative), but is at the mercy of his father-in-law, Executive Chairman Vince McMahon.

Dave Meltzer stated as much on Wrestling Observer Radio. Claiming that Levesque is likely in the middle of a "frustrating" situation, he pointed out that anyone from writers all the way up to Triple H "can't say anything to Vince." "It's like you're f***ed if you say anything to Vince," he quipped.

Meltzer stated that people within WWE are currently "trying to figure out a way to have him not do this," referencing Vince's constant creative interjections in recent months. A source noted that the 77-year-old's constant changes would be easier to take if they happened 1-2 days prior to shows, but they don't: they typically occur on the same day.

McMahon has been back in WWE creative power since Endeavor's takeover of the company in April, which saw him regain the final say on what makes it to company television.

Previously, the 77-year-old was forced to resign in disgrace last July, doing so amidst multiple sexual misconduct allegations.
