With WWE in major need of some fresh new stars, Triple H has refused to rule out a return to the ring.

Speaking to The Colin Cowherd Podcast (as per Fightful) while promoting this weekend's SummerSlam, the Game talked up how he'd step back into the ring if people wanted to see it and if there was an intriguing reason to do so.

"If people want it, if it's the right thing, it has got to be intriguing. At this point, with as busy as everybody is in WWE from the business side, for me to get ready for WrestleMania, at my age, it's not something to enter into casually. I'd have to train a lot, a couple times a day for three months or so to get ready for that. In-ring training and everything. I've already torn most of everything off my body, so I want to make sure I'm not ready to do that again."

Triple H would then go on to mention how he would love to wrestle in certain places one more time before finally hanging up his boots, namedropping Madison Square Garden and Japan as two such places he'd like to compete at one last time.

Of course, if the King of Kings did want to wrestle one final major match, AJ Styles has previously talked about wanting to face Hunter at WrestleMania at some point.

As it stands, Triple H's last match was at a June 2019 Tokyo live event, where he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to face Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe.
