Trish Stratus Continues Teasing Huge WWE Match
WWE's ears might be burning after some recent comeback comments from Trish Stratus.
Trish Stratus is still teasing a WWE mega-match against Becky Lynch during interviews.
The WWE Hall Of Famer told SportsKeeda that she'd love to step in the ring for a proper showdown with Lynch. In a slightly heel-ish moment, Stratus also said it "would really be nothing" to put the former Raw Women's Champion in her place.
Trish previously slapped 'Big Time Becks' on a company house show in Toronto this past March, but it looks like Stratus is interested in taking things further. Trish last wrestled (vs. Charlotte Flair) at SummerSlam 2019 - that was treated like one last hurrah for the celebrated women's wrestling revolutionary.
Critics agreed that the match was a success, and even the most negative fans out there must've been pleased by her performance. A bout vs. Becky has been rumoured for years though, and so has a tussle with Sasha Banks.
That last one is definitely on ice until Banks' problems with WWE are thrashed out.
Lynch did work a solid effort with Trish's pal Lita at February's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia. A bout vs. Stratus could be just the tonic for Becky at SummerSlam then.
