Two WWE Couples Get Married
Not to each other, mind.
Bouquets have been figuratively flying left, right, and centre around Stamford as we head into the weekend, as two sets of WWE couples just tied the knot.
Recently re-homed NXT superstar Killian Dain and Raw performer Nikki Cross were hitched during a ceremony in Glasgow, Scotland over the last few days. The pair have been together since before joining WWE, and were engaged to be married last year.
A clutch of British wrestling talent were in attendance for their Scottish wedding, including top NXT coach Robbie Brookside and veteran Johnny Moss.
Fellow Brit Drake Maverick also walked the aisle this week, saying "I do" in the direction of Mae Young Classic competitor Renee Michelle.
Acknowledging the 205 Live General Manager's nuptials, WWE filmed an actually amusing skit in which the-then 24/7 Champion exchanged vows wearing his belt, only to be gazumped by R-Truth seconds after putting a ring on his bride's finger.
His new wife Michelle posted the following on Twitter in response:
(Obviously, this wasn't their actual wedding, but a neat nod by his employers all the same. But does it mean Drake worked on his big day?)
Anyway, many congratulations to the newlyweds, and here's to many happy years ahead!
